In these workshops, we will offer a short film, a study guide, and conversations about the questions raised in Frankenstein that are so important to our youth. We will perform short monologues from the play and address pertinent contemporary questions therein. We will share information about the play, the characters, and the history behind the story, as well as about Mary Shelley’s life with students who may relate to the remarkable story of a young woman encumbered by poverty, an abusive relationship, unwed motherhood, and the prejudice of the patriarchy against an artist who happened to be a woman. Please contact us if there is an entity or organization who might benefit from receiving this program.
